Camp Details
Dates: 18th and 19th of February
Location: East Grinstead Sports Club
Times: 9 am- 3 pm
Ages: 18th (12-16) 19th (7-12)
Coaches: Led by experienced club coaches, including guest coaches with expertise in youth development and performance hockey
Camp Options
Fun Camp:
Perfect for younger players or those new to hockey.
The theme of this camp is elimination skills. Learn new ways of eliminating an opponent whilst enjoying the game in a relaxed, supportive environment, with a focus on:
- Fun Games & Challenges: Engaging, creative activities designed to teach basic hockey skills while keeping things light-hearted and fun
- Meeting New Friends: A great opportunity for kids to socialize and bond with other young players from the local community
- Relaxed Learning Environment: Encouraging participation and confidence without the pressure of competition
- Experiencing Top Facilities: Play on high-quality pitches and use excellent club facilities to get a real feel for the sport.

Performance Camp:
Tailored for advanced players, particularly those involved in county squads or talent academies. This camp provides a performance-driven environment with advanced development opportunities. The theme for this camp is about learning to carry the ball effectively with awareness of opportunities to pass whilst on the move. This also includes:
- Video Analysis: Helping players understand and refine their technique by reviewing game footage-High-Intensity Drills: Focusing on advanced skills like precision passing, advanced ball control, and defensive techniques
-Tactical & Strategic Sessions: Teaching positioning, decision-making, and match tactics
-A competitive, performance atmosphere designed to prepare players for high-level competition
What to Bring
- Hockey stick, shin pads, mouthguard
-Packed lunch and water bottle
-Weather-appropriate clothing (and a spare set, just in case!)
